In the weekly police blotter, read about a woman arrested twice in six hours, a burglary at a miniature golf course and a Bridgeville man who has been arrested by police 21 times.

Woman arrested twice in same day: Scott police said they charged a township resident with harassment twice in six hours. Police said 46-year-old Marsha Tomer made threats against another person in the 1200 block of Washington Avenue shortly after noon on May 11. Around 6 p.m. later that day, police said Tomer threatened a resident on School Street.

Money stolen from miniature golf course: A window at the Fitzy’s Putt-N-Go miniature golf course cashier building on Greentree Road was forced open and money was taken from the business on May 7, Scott police said.

Man faces multiple charges for fighting: Joseph Kryl, 36, of Ross Township, was arrested in the early hours of May 8 after Scott police said he got into a fight with his uncle in the 300 block of Noblestown Road. Police charged Kryl with public drunkenness, criminal mischief, aggravated assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct. Police said he also tried to fight with officers while at the Scott Township police station.

Drug paraphernalia arrest: Amey Smocynski, 33, of Scott, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after Scott police said they found a crack pipe during a traffic stop along Carothers Avenue on May 9.

Man found very drunk: James Chiodo, 41, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness on May 10 after township police and medics found him very intoxicated on Front Street.

Fight leads to charges: Cody Bean, 19, of Scott, was charged with simple assault on May 11 following a fight in the 100 block of Woodridge Drive, township police said.

Disorderly conduct charges: Two Scott residents were cited after township police said they found them in possession of a small amount of marijuana on May 7. Police charged 20-year-old Michael B. King and a 17-year-old juvenile with disorderly conduct after seeing them on Keystone Drive.

Underage drinking charge: A 15-year-old boy faces disorderly conduct and underage drinking charges after Scott police said they found him drinking alcohol at Spinner Field in the early hours of May 10.

Juvenile accused of fighting: A 17-year-old boy was charged with harassment on May 11 following a fight in the 1700 block of Borland Road.

Industrial park burglarized: Scott police said a bucket of tungsten carbide chips was stolen from a business in the Carnegie Industrial Park on May 8.

 

Man arrested for public drunkenness: Bridgeville police arrested 46-year-old Randy Thomson and charged him with public drunkenness after they found him sleeping in a gravel lot on May 7. Police said it’s the 21st time they’ve arrested Thomson in the borough.

 

Railroad crossing construction delayed: Crews have pushed back work to fix the railroad crossing at Mayer Street in Kirwan Heights. The work was supposed to begin May 14 and continue through the week, but the railroad company has pushed it back to June 11. However, that date could be changed again.
