Women Accused of Stealing $500 of Clothes from Walmart

One of the women allegedly involved in the retail theft is also accused of bringing her 2-year-old child to the store. Read about that and other crime news in the weekly Scott Township police blotter.

Two women are accused of stealing nearly $500 worth of clothing from Walmart.

Scott Township police said they charged Carlee Windsor, 22, of Pittsburgh, and India Lee, 20, of Carnegie, with retail theft for allegedly shoplifting the clothes on Feb. 11.

Police said they also charged Lee with trespassing, false ID to police and child endangerment.

Lee brought her 2-year-old child in a stroller while participating in the alleged retail theft, police said.

Scott Township

Man accused of breaking into apartment: Scott Township police said they charged a Mt. Lebanon man with burglary and several other crimes after he allegedly showed up drunk at a friend’s Swallow Hill Road apartment and tried to forcibly enter the residence. Police charged Corey Homa, 30, with burglary, trespassing harassment, terroristic threats, resisting arrest and with public drunkenness. Homa was arrested in the early hours of Feb. 13 and taken to Allegheny County Jail for his arraignment.

Threat leads to charges: Two Scott Township police arrested two people after one of them allegedly threatened another person with a firearm. Police said Anthony Vanhorn. 28, threatened another person with a gun in the 200 block of Noblestown Road on Feb. 15. Police charged Vanhorn with assault. Both he and Hillary Dunbar, 27, face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they are continuing to investigate.

Retail theft charges: Kimberly Lucas, 25, of Peters, and Daniel Cordera, 28, of Monroeville, face retail theft and conspiracy charges after Scott Township police said they stole more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Gifted store on Cochran Road on Feb. 15. Police said they also charged Lucas with harassment for shoving an employee.

Two accused of retail theft: Ashley Kara, 30, of Carnegie, and David Goscinski, 32, of Peters Township, were charged with retail theft, conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia after Scott Township police said they were caught shoplifting at Walmart on Feb. 13.

DUI charge: Mark Fabio, 60, of Scott, was charged with drunken driving after township police said they found him “incoherent” while sitting in his car in the 1100 block of Hope Hollow Road on Feb. 12.

Woman accused of sending harassing texts: Tara Doverspike, 26, of Carnegie, was charged with harassment after Scott Township police said she continuously sent text messages and made phone calls to a Vanadium Road resident.

Marijuana possession charge: Scott Township police said Daniel Revesz, 22, of Carnegie, was charged with marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Greentree Road on Feb. 15.
