Vandal Leaves His Graffiti Mark in Carnegie and Collier

Police say someone is painting graffiti on homes and businesses in Collier Township and Carnegie.

A vandal is leaving his mark in Carnegie and Collier.

said someone left a graffiti painting on a home in Walker’s Mill last month and they’re working to find the culprit.

There were many other similar markings on buildings and signs in Carnegie, which appears to say “Ghost.”

“This is the worst vandalism there is and we will not tolerate (it),” Collier Township Manager Sal Sirabella said in an email. “We will catch this tagger, convict and we will seek full restitution to Collier Township and the homeowner victim.”

Collier Township police Chief Tom Devin said his department is working with Carnegie police to find the person responsible for the vandalism. He said Collier’s damage has been limited to just the home in Walker’s Mill, but they’re keeping an eye out for more problems.

Devin and his investigators think it’s the same person who is vandalizing areas in Carnegie. Carnegie police officials did not return calls seeking comment on the graffiti.

It’s just one time we’ve been hit,” Devin said. “Our concern is it’s the same person that’s hit both of us.”
