Three Charged After Theft at Marshalls

Three Pittsburgh women face charged after an incident at Marshalls Department Store in Scott Township on May 4.

Scott police charged Raenal Stevenson, 23, and Cheyenne Arrington, 18, with retail theft and receiving stolen property for their involvement in a retail theft incident at the department store between 1:23 and 3 p.m. that day.

Stevenson also was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement. Her mother, Linda Witherspoon, 47, was charged with obstruction of administration of law for her involvement in covering up the identity of her daughter.

Also in the blotter:

  • Charles Tigner, 42, of Scott Township, was charged with retail theft and public intoxication following an incident at Bottom Dollar on April 29 at noon.
  • Damage to vacant house in 400 block of Noblestown Road was reported. The incident occurred sometime between 11 a.m. on April 23 and 11:45 a.m. on April 30.
  • Nicole Verlinich, 24, was charged with criminal mischief to a motor vehicle after she damaged a vehicle in the 1800 block of Greentree Road on April 30, between 1 and 2 p.m.
  • Joshua Winkler, 31, of Carnegie, was charged with summary retail theft at Shop N Save in Raceway Plaza, following an incident on April 30 at 8:25 p.m.
  • Larue Davis, 30, of East Carnegie, was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement after he was taken into custody during a warrant service at H2O Bar on Noblestown Road on April 30 at 9:30 p.m.
  • Joseph Hahn, 24, of Canonsburg, was charged with disorderly conduct after a small amount of marijuana was found in his vehicle during an incident on Boroview Avenue on May 1 at 10:02 p.m.
  • Melissa Cecere, 31, of Pittsburgh, was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at Walmart on May 3 at 6:15 p.m.
