Teens charged with assaulting boy: Two 13-year-old boys are facing charges in juvenile court after Heidelberg police said they threatened another boy while fighting over a girl at Ellsworth Park. Police said the two boys, who were not identified because of their age, assaulted the other boy and threatened him with a box cutter on April 22. Two of the boys later ran away and were found hiding beneath the Greentree Road bridge. Neither the victim nor the girl was hurt. Police expect to charge the two boys with harassment, simple assault and terrorist threats.

Cocaine drug charges: Andy Wissel, 25, of Heidelberg, and Jesse Britt, 25, of Oakdale, were charged with public drunkenness, drug possession and other drug-related crimes, borough police said. Heidelberg police said they saw the two people snorting cocaine in a car parked outside the Heidelway Bar in the early hours of April 20.

Retail theft arrest: Elizabeth Goimaric, 22, of Peters Township, was charged with retail theft after Scott police said she stole DVDs from Walmart on April 17.

Simple assault charge: Scott police said Eddie Arauz, 20, of Mt. Lebanon, was charged with simple assault and harassment following a fight at Carriage Park Apartments on April 17.

Car vandalism: Scott police said someone used nails to puncture the tires of a car parked in the 500 block of Center Street on April 20.

Fight leads to charges: Patricia Carmack, 50, of Scott, was charged with simple assault after a fight in the 300 block of Rockhill Road on April 17, township police said.

Fighting with a boy: Scott police said they charged Eric Pearce, 37, of South Fayette, with harassment after he allegedly got into a fight with a juvenile boy along Forsythe Road on April 23.

Retail theft and drug charges: Scott police said they charged William J. Deep, 25, of South Fayette, with retail theft on April 18. He also was charged with retail theft and several drug crimes the following day while at Cigarettes 4 Less, police said.

Marijuana possession: Vendell Nasir, 19, of Carnegie, was charged with possession of marijuana while at the GetGo gas station along Route 50 on April 21, Scott police said.

DUI charge: Scott police said they arrested Melanie Hesser, 49, of Pittsburgh, for drunken driving on April 18 after stopping her car along Cochran Road.

Drug charges: Scott police said they charged 42-year-old Ronald Penn with several drug offenses after executing a search warrant at an apartment in the 500 block of Carothers Avenue.

 

Expensive place set stolen: Collier police said a vinyl place set worth $2,500 was stolen from the Outlet Barn on Campbells Run Road some time between April 14 to 17.

Rare coins missing: Six coins worth a total of $900 were stolen from a vendor at Trader Jack’s around 2 p.m. on April 15, Collier Township police said.

 

Pit bulls running loose: Regina Camp, 38, of Bridgeville, was charged with allowing her dog to run loose on April 15 after borough police said her pit bull was seen running unleashed on several occasions along Union Street. Megan Wiles, 25, of Bridgeville, faces the same charge after police said her pit bull charged an officer on St. Clair Street on April 13 before running into her home.

DUI arrest: Robert Lapinski, 37, of Upper St. Clair, was charged with drunken driving in the early hours of April 19 after Bridgeville police said they stopped his car in the 700 block of Washington Avenue.

Route 50 road construction: Bridgeville’s main business drag through town will be closed one night this week for construction. Washington Avenue will be closed from Hickman Street to Bower Hill Road beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday. The work, weather permitting, is to replace old pavement markings for the upcoming streetscape project. A detour route similar to the one used on the borough’s annual Community Day will be posted for motorists to get around the area.
