Scott Police Recover Stolen Electronics Sold to Store

Scott police said they arrested a 24-year-old township resident on Jan. 14 for allegedly selling a stolen iPad to an electronics store.

Police said they charged Sean Sanns with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly sold the electronic tablet to MIB in Dormont.

Police said the iPad was taken from a home in the 700 block of Robin Drive.

Investigators did not say how the iPad was taken from the home.

Scott Township

DUI arrest: Justin Wells, 23, of Pittsburgh, was charged with drunken driving when Scott Township police said they found him passed out in his car at the McDonald’s restaurant in Raceway Plaza in the early hours of Jan. 20.

Man accused of theft: Justin Lewchenko, 21, of Crafton, was charged with theft after Scott Township police said he took money from a vehicle’s console after receiving a ride on Jan. 15. Police said the driver picked Lewchecnko up in Crafton and dropped him off in Scott Township.

Dispute leads to charges: Karen Iorio, 49, of Crafton, was charged with public drunkenness and harassment following a dispute in the 400 block of Hill Street on Jan. 19.

Vehicle damaged at daycare: Scott Township police said a vehicle parked at a Greentree Road daycare was damaged on Jan. 14.

Car damaged at grocery store: A car parked outside the Bottom Dollar grocery store along Washington Avenue was damaged on Jan. 15, Scott Township police said.
