Previously Convicted Sex Offender Waives Child Porn Charges to Court

Mark Torgent, 56, was charged in May.

A Collier Township man has waived to court charges of possession and distribution of child pornography and criminal use of a communications facility.

Mark Torgent, 56, was charged in May after police raided his Kellington Drive home. According to reports at that time, nothing was found at the home, but child pornography was found on a computer at the offices of Tenova Core in Moon where Torgent worked as a contractor.

Arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 15 at the Allegheny County Courthouse.
