Police Break Up Fight at Chuck E Cheese Near Bridgeville

Numerous police officers were called to Chuck E Cheese on Sunday night for a fight in which an irate woman was allegedly shouting obscenities around young children.

Collier police said they were dispatched to the restaurant in Chartiers Valley Shopping Center around 8 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight inside.

The fight apparently had ended by the time police arrived, but officers did find a woman shouting obscenities.

Police said they charged Timeia Thompson, 22, of Carnegie, with disorderly conduct. They did not say what triggered the incident or if anyone was involved.

However, some local people took to Twitter to say that a fight broke out and nearly turned into a riot before nearly a dozen police officers from surrounding communities arrived to break it up.

Retail theft charges: Two women face retail theft charges after Collier police said they tried to steal seven bras worth $32 from Kmart on Oct. 7. Police said they charged Florence Deller, 51, of Castle Shannon, and Deborah Jackson, 58, of Baldwin, following the incident.

Suspicious car leads to charges: Robin Renner, 40, of California, was charged with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and open alcohol containers on Oct. 8 after Collier police said they found him parked off Noblestown Road. Police have been monitoring the area because it has been prone to recent vandalism.

Woman charged with public drunkenness: Joei Ruggiero, 51, Bridgeville, was charged with public drunkenness after Collier police said they received reports that she was intoxicated while at Burton’s Total Pet and Giant Eagle on Oct. 12.

Gym bag stolen from LA Fitness: A gym bag containing clothes and car keys was stolen from a locker at LA Fitness on Oct. 14. Police said the stolen items totaled about $125.
