Police Bust Suspected Drug House in Bridgeville

Bridgeville police raided a suspected drug house earlier this month and said they found marijuana, narcotics, cash and drug paraphernalia.

Investigators said they had been monitoring the home in the 1300 block of Critchfield Drive for months after receiving reports of drug activity at the residence.

Officers raided the home shortly before midnight on Nov. 1 and arrested Troy Gray, 25, of Bridgeville. Police said they seized marijuana, cash, narcotics and various drug paraphernalia from the residence.

Gray faces a litany of felony and misdemeanor charges, which include possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail while awaiting arraignment on the charges.

Police said they are continuing to investigate and more arrests could be made.

Man charged with assaulting boys: Chris McElroy, 41, of Bridgeville, was charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of children after borough police said he assaulted two boys at his Missouri Avenue home on Nov. 11.

Crash leads to DUI arrest: Bridgeville police said they arrested Kristina Gouldsberry, 24, of Coraopolis, in the early hours of Oct. 27 after she allegedly drove onto the sidewalk and crashed into a utility pole in the 100 block of Washington Avenue. Police said they charged her with drunken driving, reckless driving and damage to unattended property after stopping her in the 400 block of Washington Avenue.

Drug charges: Christopher Dame, 21, of Oakdale, was charged with marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop along Station Street on Nov. 1, Bridgeville police said.

Police seize sawed off shotgun: Bridgeville police said they charged Lawrence Schneider with possession of a prohibited weapon after they were called to his Elm Street home on Nov. 2 and found a sawed off 12-gauge shotgun inside.
