A Heidelberg man is accused of sending crude letters to a mother and daughter.



Man accused of sending harassing letters: Bryan M. Bretin, 38, of Heidelberg, was charged with harassment and stalking after borough police said he left crude letters for a woman and her daughter. Police said Bretin left several letters in their apartment mailbox over the last few weeks.

Car break-in: Collier police said a thief broke into a woman’s car on Sept. 2 while it was parked in front of LA Fitness and stole her purse in the backseat. The purse contained several credit cards, some of which were used to make purchases in Wexford, police said.

Items stolen from purse: A woman told Collier police she left her purse on a table at Chuck E Cheese on Sept. 2 and returned to find credit cards and $40 missing.

Dirt bike stolen: Collier police said a Suzuki dirt bike worth $1,200 was stolen from a residence along Baldwin Road on Sept. 4.

 

iPads missing from retirement home: The family of a Providence Pointe resident told Scott police two Apple iPads were stolen from her room last month.

Drug charges: Alex J. Profeta, 20, and Tyler Pruss, 19, were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Sept. 1, Scott police said. Profetta, of Collier, was also charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Disorderly conduct: Carlo A. Williams, 21, of Scott, was charged early Sunday morning with public drunkenness and harassment following an argument in the School House Village parking lot, township police said.

Bicycle stolen: An unidentified boy told Scott police his gray Imperial bicycle was stolen from in front of the Walmart on Aug. 30.
