Thoughtful Thief Sends Flowers to Victim

Thief steals debit card, then has flowers delivered to the victim.

A thief who stole a Scott Township couple’s bank account information was somewhat thoughtful by having flowers delivered to their house as a “thank you” gesture. The couple, which was not identified by Scott police, said they received the flowers over the weekend but were confused because they never ordered them. They contacted Parkvale Savings Bank and learned the thief had racked up $300 worth of purchases in wine, flowers and online songs from July 1 to 10. "I have never heard of the thief being that bold," Scott Sgt. Al Ballo said. The couple had their debit card account closed and police are investigating who stole their information.
