An unwanted swimmer caused a lot of damage to a fence surrounding a pool at a Rennerdale home. Also in the police blotter, a man is found staggering on Greentree Road.

Swimmer knocks over pool fence: An unwanted swimmer apparently broke a fence surrounding a pool at a Collier Township home last week. An Elwyn Avenue resident told police the pool’s fence was pushed over on June 28. Police think someone was swimming in the pool and knocked over the fence while hastily leaving when the resident returned to the Rennerdale neighborhood home.

Teen girls charged with stealing make-up: Two 16-year-old girls from Mt. Lebanon were charged with retail theft after said they stole $56 worth of cosmetics from Kmart on June 25. Their identities were not released because of their ages.

Trinity Acres barn damaged: Collier police say a person broke out a wooden door pane and three windows at the Trinity Acres barn on Ridge Road in the early hours of Jun 27.

Man seen walking in traffic: Joseph Drischler, 46, of Pittsburgh, was charged with public drunkenness after said they saw him staggering in traffic in the 1800 block of Greentree Road on June 25.

Disturbance on Main Street: John Garrett, 32, of Scott, was charged with harassment following a disturbance along Main Street on June 27, township police said.

Drug paraphernalia found: Scott police said they charged 21-year-old township resident Gina Ross with possession of drug paraphernalia while in her residence on June 27.

Drug charge: Spencer Servey, 29, of Bridgeville, was charged with drug law violations following a traffic stop on Noblestown Road in the early hours of July 1, Scott police said.

Motorcycle helmet stolen: A helmet worth $150 was stolen from a motorcycle parked at Walmart late on June 25, Scott police said.

Fence vandalized: Scott police said a fence surrounding the Wee Care Day Care in the 1000 block of Lindsay Road was damaged in the early hours of June 24.

Money stolen from residence: Cash was stolen from a Greenbriar Drive residence on June 25 and Scott police think it might have been taken by a recent visitor to the home.

 

Woman found passed out in van: Michelle Ostrander, 34, of Heidelberg, was charged with drunken driving, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and resisting arrest after borough police officers said they found her passed out in a van on Second Street in the early hours of June 29.

Motorcyclist charged with DUI: William Kasecky, 46, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving and driving on a suspended license after said they stopped his motorcycle along East Railroad Street on June 29.
