A man is accused of trying to fight two people at a Bridgeville apartment complex. Also in the police blotter, a child is accused of pointing what looked to be a firearm at passing cars.

Child scares motorists: Scott police said they cited a 13-year-old boy for harassment and disorderly conduct after motorists along Carothers Avenue told officers he was pointing a bungee cord at passing cars pretending it was a firearm on July 12.

Retail theft charges: Kevin Giles, 42, and Janelle Baker, 44, both of Carnegie, were charged with retail theft after Scott police said they took clothing from Walmart on July 12.

Underage drinking citations: Scott Township police said two 17-year-olds were cited for underage possession of alcohol on July 11 while at Gregg Street Park.

Fight leads to charges: Christopher Luton, 29, of Scott was charged with harassment and simple assault following an incident at Nob Hill Apartments along Swallow Hill Road on July 10, township police said.

DUI arrest: Michael Kensinger, 39, of North Fayette, was charged with drunken driving after Scott police said he was driving erratically on Washington Avenue in the early hours of July 14.

Public drunkenness charge: David Lawniczak, 49, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness on July 12 after township police said they found him intoxicated following a verbal fight on Clairview Drive.

Disorderly conduct charge: Scott Kuhn, 31, of Freedom, was charged with disorderly conduct after Scott police said they found a small amount of marijuana in his car while parked behind lows on July 15.

Part stolen from car: A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked in the 800 of block of Hope Hollow Road on July 15., Scott police said.

False info to police: Scott police accused Calvin Ortiz, 22, of Pittsburgh, of giving false information to officers while he was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation on July 13.

 

Man accused of trying to spark fight: Louis J. Mehlmauer, 47, of Bridgeville, was charged with harassment after borough police said he tried to fight two people at an apartment building in the 600 block of Baldwin Street on June 29.

DUI arrest: said they charged Michael P. Boyle, 28, of Meadowlands, with drunken driving after a traffic stop along Washington Avenue on June 29.

Harassing text messages: Bridgeville police said they charged 38-year-old borough resident Bryan Palmer with harassment by communication on July 8 after a woman told officers she was receiving threatening text messages.

Illegal magazine solicitation: Ryan Henderson, 24, of Spring, TX, and Christopher King, 24, of Corry, PA, were cited on July 5 after Bridgeville police said they were selling magazine subscriptions to residents without obtaining a solicitation permit. Police said all people who want to sell door-to-door must first apply for a permit at the Bridgeville Borough Building.

Harassment charge: Robert Gallocher, 30, of Bridgeville, was charged with harassment after borough police said he shouted profanities and threatened a girl in the 800 block of Mill Street on June 20.

 

Man allegedly found drunk on busy road: Patrick Ireland, 43, of Robinson, was charged with public drunkenness after said they saw him walking along Campbells Run Road on July 4. Police said Ireland also was wanted on an arrest warrant out of Maryland.

Two charged after car found on road: Collier police said they arrested two people after finding a vehicle left along Nike Site Road on July 10. Police said they charged Shaun Barnhart, 33, of Bellvue, with unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving on a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stephanie Hiladonnik, who was a passenger in the car, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Woman allegedly steals shoes: Tiffany Wilson, 32, of Bridgeville, was charged with retail theft after Collier police said she tried to take shoes worth $25 from Kmart on July 11.

Gym locker thefts: A man told Collier police that someone stole his weight lifting belt worth about $60 from LA Fitness on July 6. Police said another man reported his keys stolen from his gym locker on July 10.

Park hit by graffiti: Collier police said they found graffiti at Skvarka Park near Delfred Drive on July 14.

 

Drug and tampering charges: said they charged 36-year-old borough resident Michael A. Brooks with evidence tampering and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Police said they found suspected heroin during a disturbance in the 600 block of Grant Street in the early hours of July 15.

Drug charge: Lori Blatz, 41, of Carnegie, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after Heidelberg police said they stopped the car she was riding in along East Railroad Street on July 15.
