Bridgeville police said they found a man unconscious behind Rite Aid after he was huffing an aerosol can. Also, playground equipment at a Scott day care was vandalized last week.

Man nearly overdoses from huffing aerosol can: Bridgeville police said they responded to a possible drug overdose behind Rite Aid on March 12 and found two out-of-state men who had been inhaling the contents of an aerosol can stolen from the store. Police said they found Anthony Price, 28, of Warren, Ohio, who was now conscious and able to talk to officers. They charged him with theft, illegal use of solvents and possession of drug paraphernalia. They also charged Bill Crayton, 20, of Clarksburg, W.Va., with possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana possession.

Street fight: Bridgeville police said they responded to Baldwin Street shortly before midnight on March 18 after receiving reports of several people fighting in the street. Police said they arrested Louis Mehlmauer, 41, of Bridgeville, and charged him with simple assault, reckless endangerment, possession of a weapon, harassment and disorderly conduct. They also charged Joseph Rodgers, 33, of Bridgeville, with disorderly conduct.

DUI charge: Nicholas Hesse, 24, of Kitzmiller, Md., was charged with drunken driving on March 12 after Bridgeville police said they stopped his car on Washington Avenue.

Underage drinking charges: Bridgeville police said they arrested two 15-year-old boys for drinking alcohol after officers were dispatched to an underage drinking party under the Hickman Street train trestle on March 16.

Open burning sparks argument: Stanley Lisowski, 52, of Scott, was charged with reckless endangerment and drug law violations after township police said he got into an argument with neighbors over an open fire at his Ignatius Avenue residence on March 16.

Playground equipment vandalized: Scott Township police said the playground equipment at Wee Care Daycare on Lindsay Road was vandalized on March 15.

Car vandalism leads to fight: Scott police said they charged 27-year-old township resident James Wolukis with several offenses, including assault, public drunkenness, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, after a fight on Center Street. Police said Wolukis damaged a vehicle window before the fight on March 18.

Public drunkenness arrest: David Lawniczak, 49, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness on March 14 after township police said they responded to a domestic dispute on Clairview Drive.

Fight leads to arrest: Joseph Changle, 23, of Scott, was charged with two counts of simple assault on March 17 after township police said he was involved in a fight in the 600 block of Summit Street.

Bumper stolen: A bumper that was removed from a car so it could be painted was stolen from the rear of Scott Towne Center on March 14, Scott police said.

 

Fugitive arrested: Heidelberg police said they arrested a wanted man while responding to a domestic dispute outside a Grant Street home. Police said they were called to the area on March 16 and found 25-year-old Jacob Miller, who was wanted by Allegheny County sheriff’s deputies for failing to appear at a hearing on drug charges. He was arrested and taken to Allegheny County Jail.

Prowler arrested: A Heidelberg man faces multiple charges after borough police said he threatened officers while he was lurking around homes on Ellsworth Avenue and First Street. Police said 34-year-old Drew Kramer was very drunk when they found him laying down in a yard shortly before midnight on March 18. Kramer became loud and threatening when officers tried to get him up, police said, and was treated by paramedics. He was charged with prowling, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

DUI charge: Jake Black, 25, of Scott, was charged with drunken driving and various traffic offenses on March 14 after Heidelberg police said they stopped his car on Cherry Way.

Pharmacy incident: Rachel O. Gray, 23, of Scott Township, faces multiple charges after Heidelberg police said she was involved in an incident at Walgreens on March 15. Police said they charged Gray with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, terroristic threats, forgery and records tampering. Police did not elaborate on why Gray was arrested.

Man seen loitering: Heidelberg police said Shale Plezia, 21, of Bridgeville, was charged with prowling, evidence tampering, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was seen lurking around the rear of a Grant Street residence in the early hours of March 16.
