Police Nab 'Perfect Teeth' Bandit

Also in the police blotter, a naked man was seen rummaging through a neighbor's mail.

Police have arrested . Heidelberg police charged James Fincham with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and trespassing in the Oct. 5 home invasion of a Walnut Street home. Police said Finacham, 30, of Pittsburgh, broke into the house by crawling through a rear window and over the kitchen sink. Police said he took a flat-screen television with a Blue Ray player and another television. Fincham was already in Allegheny County Jail on unrelated charges, which investigators said allowed them to match him up using fingerprints found in and around the house. Witnesses who saw the burglar leaving the scene described him as having “perfect teeth.”

Rummaging through the mail: Heidelberg police said they found man rummaging through a borough resident’s mail while standing naked on the front porch of the home. Police said they were called to the residence in the 1900 block of Walnut Street Ext. on Nov. 17, when they came upon 32-year-old Jason C. Donald looking through the mailbox. They arrested Donald and charged him with open lewdness, criminal attempt and disorderly conduct.

Drug charges: Henri C. Cook, 40, of McDonald, was charged with drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and several vehicle violations following a traffic stop along Washington Pike on Nov. 17, Heidelberg police said.

Vending machines vandalized: Collier police said someone broke into the soda machines outside Giant Eagle on Nov. 15 and took $70 from their cash boxes.

 

Four-car crash: One woman was injured in a four-car chain reaction crash on Nov. 22. Scott Township police said the woman was in severe pain and rolled out of the car and onto the pavement after the crash around 6 p.m. on Cochran Road. She was taken to St. Clair Hospital with unspecified injuries.

DUI arrest: Joseph Campbell, 26, of Scott, was charged with drunken driving after township police said they stopped his car on Center way on Nov. 15.

Falling debris: A car’s windshield was severely damaged when an unidentified object either fell or was thrown from the railroad bridge overlooking Vanadium Road on Nov. 16. Scott police are investigating, but have no suspects.

Domestic dispute: Reynalyn Corrales, 27, of Scott, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an argument at an Idlewood Avenue apartment complex on Nov. 17, Scott police said.

Domestic charges: Richard A. Jones, 39, of Scott, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an argument inside his Boroview Avenue home on Nov. 20, township police said.

Botched burglary: Scott police said someone broke into an apartment in the 400 block of Center Street on Nov. 19, although nothing was taken from the residence.

Power tools stolen: Scott police said two nail guns and an air compressor were stolen from the bed of a pickup truck parked outside of Lowe’s on Nov. 19.
