A Scott man wanted on theft charges was forcibly removed from his home's attic when he resisted arrest.

Resisting arrest: Police said they had to forcibly take a Scott Township man into custody while trying to arrest him at his Torrence Avenue home. Scott police said 38-year-old Joseph R. Boris was wanted on a theft charge when he hid in an attic crawl space on Jan. 12. Police took him to Allegheny County Jail and added a resisting arrest charge.

Harassment charge: Gary L. Schuck, 53, of Scott, was charged with harassment after township police said he got into a fight with another man at his Hill Street residence on Jan. 11.

Domestic dispute: Scott Township police said they charged 45-year-old Dennis Egnatz with simple assault following a domestic violence incident at his Mansfield Avenue residence on Jan. 15.

Retail theft arrests: Three Pittsburgh women face retail theft charges after Scott Township police said they took merchandise from Marshall’s department store on Jan. 10. Police arrested Guzal Mullakhanova, 35, Agzamora Uktubar, 69, and Nargiza Zayniddinova, 39, and took them to Allegheny County Jail for arraignment.

Retirement home theft: Scott Township police reported a theft at Harbour Assisted Living along Greentree Road on Jan. 11. Investigators did not say what was stolen.

Vehicle theft: Scott police said a vehicle parked at the Ameifit on Roessler Road was broken into on Jan. 13 and personal items from a purse were stolen.

Wallet stolen: An employee’s wallet was stolen from the break room at McDonald’s in Raceway Plaza on Jan. 14, Scott police said.

 

Theft arrest: Bridgeville said Christopher Davin, 29, of Canonsburg, was charged with theft and failure to make disposition of funds after a business owner in the 600 block of Washington Avenue told officers money was missing from his business on Jan. 9.

Yelling and disorderly: Two Bridgeville Tower residents were charged with disorderly conduct after Bridgeville police said they were yelling, slamming doors and using profanity inside the Bank Street Extension building. Ron Alloway, 61, and Shirley Noroski, 63, were charged after the Jan. 15 disturbance on the building’s fourth floor.

 

Theft charge: Heidelberg police charged Lisa L. Sandstrom, 43, of Cecil Township, with theft and unlawful use of a computer stemming. Police said she was connected to thefts while working as a cashier at the Bargainland store in November and December.

 



Copper theft: Collier Township police said 30-feet of copper piping was taken from the basement of a residence in the 600 block of Ridge Road on Jan. 10.
