Pittsburgh Man Arrested For Breaking Into McLaughlin Run Building

A Pittsburgh man was arrested after witnesses reported seeing him climbing into the window of a building on McLaughlin Run Road.

Bridgeville police responded to the 100 block of McLaughling Run at 10:45 a.m. on July 13 for a report that two men had climbed in the window of a building there.

Kurt Sutherland, 35, of Neville Island, was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and criminal conspiracy. The other man was gone when police arrived, according to the police report.

Court dockets show that Sutherland is being held in Allegheny County Jail, and that a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 20 before Magisterial District Judge Mary P. Murray.

  • Sierra Tarbox, 23, of Bridgeville was cited July 17 for the Bridgeville Ordinance regulating Junk and Abandoned Vehicles. Police said a car owned by Tarbox was parked inoperable on Josephine St. with expired registration and inspection stickers, which is a violation of the ordinance. 
  • Billy Polk, 26, of Bridgeville was cited for public intoxication after he caused a disturbance in the hallway of an apartment building in the 300 block of Station Street on July 27, according to the police report. He was lodged in jail until sober.
  • Louis Massimino, 46, of Carnegie was arrested for an alcohol-related DUI following a traffic stop on Chess Street on July 20 at 1:18 a.m.
  • Edmund Jones, 62, of South Fayette was arrested for an alcohol-related DUI following a traffic stop on Carol Avenue on July 25 at 8:08 p.m.
