Person Shot with BB Gun at Party

A person was shot with a BB gun while at a house party in Scott Township earlier this month. Read about that and other crime in the weekly Scott Township police blotter.

A person was shot with a BB gun while a house party earlier this month.

said the person, whom they did not identify, was struck by the pellet while at a party in the 1900 block of Berkwood Drive on Sept. 2.

Police said the person did not report the incident until Sept. 9.

Police did not say the severity of the person’s injury or if they have any suspects in the case.

Man accused of harassing ex-girlfriend: Darrell Stevens, 53, of Scott, faces numerous charges after township police said he was drunk and went to his ex-girlfriend’s home on Sept. 8. Police said they charged him with trespassing, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and resisting arrest after he apparently was combative with officers at the scene.

Front yard turfed by car: Scott Township police said they are investigating who “turfed” a Jaycee Drive home’s yard with their car on Sept. 8.

Trespassing and harassment charges: Steven Stark, 24, of Scott, was charged with trespassing and harassment after township police said he continued to defy orders to not be on his grandparents’ Magazine Street property. 

Disorderly conduct charge: Quentin Hutchinson, 29, of Pittsburgh, was charged with disorderly conduct following a traffic stop along Noblestown Road on Sept. 4, Scott Township police said.

Coins and jewelry stolen: Scott Township police said they are investigating the theft of coins and jewelry from a Hughes Street residence discovered on Sept. 4.

Parked car damaged: A vehicle parked in the 600 block of Robin Drive was damaged on Sept. 4, Scott police said.
