McDonald Man Faces 4 Court Hearings

Dillon Orourke has been arrested at least five times in the past six months. Also read other preliminary court decisions by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.

A McDonald man who has been arrested more than four times in the past six months had a busy day in district court Monday.

Dillon Orourke, 21, of 422 Fannie St., had four preliminary hearings before for four arrests that spanned from June 29 to Dec. 30.

Orourke waived to court aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct charges after being arrested by on June 29. He also waived to court harassment, stalking, trespassing, disorderly conduct and loitering charges stemming from an Aug. 26 incident in Collier.

Meanwhile, simple assault, criminal mischief and trespassing charges against Orourke from a Nov. 26 incident were withdrawn. A trespassing charge against him from was held for court. However, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges against him were dismissed.

District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet, who oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township, also made several other preliminary court decisions on Jan. 9.

Charges held for court

  • Aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness charges against Thomas Beeson, 41, of 519 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, were held for court. Bridgeville police originally charged Beeson on Nov. 22.
  • Drunken driving, reckless driving and driving without a license charges against Jose Resendiz, 26, of 21 Jacksonia St., Pittsburgh, were held to court. Collier police arrested Resendiz on Oct. 17.
  • Drunken driving and carless driving charges against April J. Gura, 30, of 1017 Harker St., Pittsburgh, were held to court. State police arrested Gura on Oct. 19.

 

Charges waived to court

  • A drunken driving charge and several traffic citations against Laura A. Cassidy, 32, of 14363 Roberta Drive, North Huntingdon, were waived to court. A reckless driving citation charge was withdrawn. State police arrested Cassidy on Oct. 30.
  • Drunken driving and careless driving charges against Frederick A. Traynor, 42, of 115 Irwin Ave., Houston, Pa., were waived to court. Reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt charges were withdrawn. State police arrested Traynor on Oct. 31.
  • Drunken driving and careless driving charges against Emily M. Taylor, 23, of Bellaire, Ohio, were waived to court. Collier police arrested Taylor on Nov. 6.
  • A drunken driving charge against Mark L. Morgan, 23, of 239 Profio Road, McDonald, was waived to court. Bridgeville police arrested Morgan on Nov. 20.
  • A drunken driving charge against Erin Everett, 21, of 3010 Laura Lane, Lawrence, was waived to court while a carless driving charge and speeding citation were withdrawn. State police arrested Everett on Oct. 31.

 

Charges reduced

  • Two disorderly conduct charges against 32-year-old Anthony J. Neil were reduced to non-traffic citations. Charges of escape, corruption of minors and public drunkenness against Neil were withdrawn. Bridgeville police originally charged him on Sept. 29.

 

Charges withdrawn

  • Simple assault and false imprisonment charges against Mickie Parkin, 21, of 5223 Thoms Run Road, Presto, were withdrawn. Collier police originally charged Parkin on Nov. 27.
