Man Charged in DUI Accident Waives Charges to Court

An update on court cases heard by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.

The following is an update on court cases heard by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on June 17. McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.

A man facing numerous drunk driving and traffic charges after a car accident waived his charges to court last week in lieu of a preliminary hearing scheduled before District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.
Bridgeville Borough police charged Brent Panza, 40, of Dravosburg, with careless driving, reckless driving, and two counts of DUI after his involvement in an accident with another vehicle on Ramsey Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. on April 20.
Formal arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 2.
Also in courts:

  • Sarah Petro, 26, of Bridgeville, waived to court charged of DUI, careless driving, driving without a license, and disregarding traffic lanes. Collier Township police charged Petro on April 16.
