Man Charged in DUI Accident Waives Charges to Court
An update on court cases heard by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.
The following is an update on court cases heard by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on June 17. McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.
A man facing numerous drunk driving and traffic charges after a car accident waived his charges to court last week in lieu of a preliminary hearing scheduled before District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet.
Bridgeville Borough police charged Brent Panza, 40, of Dravosburg, with careless driving, reckless driving, and two counts of DUI after his involvement in an accident with another vehicle on Ramsey Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. on April 20.
Formal arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 2.
Also in courts:
- Nicholas Kerr, 33, of South Fayette, waived to court charges of DUI and failure to stop at a red light. Bridgeville police charged Kerr on April 20.
- John Krantz, 58, of Bridgeville, waived to court charges of DUI, reckless driving, careless driving and recklessly endangering another person. Bridgeville police charged Krantz on April 21.
- Shannon Ramous, 27, of Morgan, Pa., waived to court charges of DUI and a traffic violation. Bridgeville police charged Ramous on April 13.
- Anthony Sroka, 20, of Bridgeville, waived to court charges of possession of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia. Bridgeville police charged Sroka on Dec. 7, 2012.
- Tara Boehme, 22, of Pittsburgh, waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving. Bridgeville police charged Boehme on March 7.
- Sarah Petro, 26, of Bridgeville, waived to court charged of DUI, careless driving, driving without a license, and disregarding traffic lanes. Collier Township police charged Petro on April 16.
