Man Accused of Making Threats Against Scott Township Resident

A South Fayette man is accused of making threats to a Scott Township resident earlier this month. Read about that and other crime news in the weekly Scott Township police blotter.

A South Fayette man is accused of making threats to a Scott Township resident earlier this month.

Scott Township police said David Cairns, 41, was involved in sending threatening messages to a Hoff Street resident last week.

Police did not say how Cairns made the alleged threats or what he said to the person.

Scott Township

DUI arrest: Wayne Henke, 41, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving after Scott police said they found him slumped behind the wheel of a car in the 1100 block of Hope Hollow Road on Feb. 10.

Prescription meds taken: Allison Zapadka, 27, of Green Tree faces a theft charge after Scott Township police said she took prescription medication from a coworker at an office in the Bourse complex along Swallow Hill Road on Feb. 6.

Vending machine vandalized: Scott Township police said a soda vending machine in front of Zuk’s Gulf gas station on Washington Avenue was damaged and money was stolen from the coin box on Feb. 3.

Money stolen from desk: Scott Township police said money was stolen from behind the desk at the Focus Center in Scott Towne Center on Feb. 7.
