Three people were arrested after they videotaped themselves discharging a fire extinguisher and destroying a computer monitor at the Pizza Hut restaurant on Greentree Road.
Scott Township police said Jacob Stewart, 19, Jeremiah Jordheim, 18, and Debra Vorbau, 19, all from Pittsburgh, went to the pizza restaurant late on Nov. 29 to play a prank on one of the managers.
Police say Vorbau used her cell phone to record the prank. The video, released by Scott police, shows Stewart shouting and spraying the fire extinguisher around the front counter before throwing a computer monitor to the ground.
He then runs out of the restaurant with an employee chasing after him.
“They just knew a manager there and it was supposed to be a prank,” Secreet said.
But Secreet said the damage done during the prank wasn’t funny and will cost around $5,000. Police also said some employees suffering from asthma were affected by the “dry chemical substance” from the extinguisher.
Stewart and Jordheim were charged with assault, reckless endangerment and other charges. Vorbau faces a charge of false reports to police.
