Fight Over Parking Spot at GetGo Leads to Charges

An argument over a parking spot led to bigger trouble for two Carnegie women.

Scott Township police said they were called to the GetGo gas station on Washington Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday for a fight inside the convenience store.

Police said the two women, Ashley Wimer, 25, and Janine Alexander, 26, were inside the store pushing and shoving each other. The two women apparently started arguing over a parking spot and the dispute spilled into the store, police said.

Police broke up the fight and cited both women for disorderly conduct.

Scott Township

Items stolen from car: Scott Township police said several items were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 1900 block of Borland Road on Jan. 28.

Man charged with public intox: Charles Tigner, 42, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness after township police said they found him in the 500 block of Carothers Avenue on Jan. 28.

Retail theft charge: Scott Township police said they charged Laura Rankin, 30, of Carnegie with retail theft, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she entered Walmart on Jan. 30 and left without paying for merchandise.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant: Ashley Finney, 23, of North Fayette, was charged with resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia after township police said they tried to arrest her on Jan. 30 on an outstanding warrant.

Harassment charge: Tara Doverspike, 26, of Carnegie, was cited for harassment after Scott police said she continued to make calls and send text messages to a Vanadium Road resident on Feb. 1.

DUI arrest: Molly Hoover, 49, of Scott, was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop along Swallow Hill Road in the early hours of Feb. 2, township police said.

Paraphernalia charge: Scott Township police said they charged Daysha Gullick, 25, of Eight Four, with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop near Raceway Plaza on Feb. 2.

Fight leads to charge: Orlando Coffee Jr., 31, of Scott, was charged with simple assault following a fight in the 400 block of Carothers Avenue on Feb. 2.
