Fight in Bridgeville Leads to Arrest

A Bridgeville woman faces numerous charges after police said she got into a fight and caused a disturbance in the borough last month.

Bridgeville police said they were called to a fight in the 100 block of Union Street shortly after 2 p.m. on March 30.

They arrested Karen Winter, 53, and charged her with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and public drunkenness.

She was taken to Allegheny County Jail and arraigned on the charges.

Bridgeville

Man accused of harassing family: Steve Keremes, 42, of Bridgeville, was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct after borough police said he was “randomly harassing” a family he saw standing outside their Murray Avenue home on April 7.

Theft charges: Stormy Plute, 24, of Bridgeville, was charged with theft, forgery and receiving stolen property after borough police said he stole money, video games and other items from a residence on March 28.

DUI arrest: Bridgeville police said they charged Derek Mullen, 30, of McMurray, with drunken driving after finding him sleeping while behind the wheel of a car in the 300 block of Station Street on March 30.

DUI charge: Marco Giuntini, 24, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving after Bridgeville police said they stopped his car on Washington Avenue in the early hours of April 5.

PFA violation: Bryan Palmer, 39, of Bridgeville, was charged with indirect criminal contempt after borough police said he violated his PFA order on April 4.
