Driver Uninjured in Fiery Rollover Crash

State police think the driver was racing another car Monday before he crashed on the Parkway West.

A motorist who may have been racing another vehicle on the Parkway West escaped serious injury after his car rolled over and it burst into flames.

State police said Jared J. Juristy, 19, of Munhall, was speeding shortly before 10:30 a.m. Monday when he hit an embankment and rolled over near the Campbells Run Road exit in Collier Township.

Juristy, who was wearing a seatbelt, escaped from the Pontiac sedan before it caught fire, state police said.
