Charges held for court

  • Charges of retail theft, conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia against Jennifer L. Summers, 27, of Weirton, WV, were held for court. Scott police arrested Summers on June 7.

Charges reduced

  • Three felony drug possession charges against Anna R. Logar, 38, of Coraopolis, were dismissed while three misdemeanor charges of drug possession were held for court. Scott police originally charged Logar on May 19.
  • Charges of public drunkenness, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance against Frank Misitis, 47, of Scott, were withdrawn, while a disorderly conduct charge was reduced to a non-traffic citation. Scott police originally charged Misitis on May 25.
  • Two simple assault charges against Joseph V. Changle, 23, of Scott, were withdrawn while a harassment charge was reduced to a non-traffic citation. Scott police originally charged Changle on March 17.

 

Charges withdrawn

  • Simple assault and harassment charges against Christopher Luton, 29, of Scott, were withdrawn. Scott police originally charged Luton on July 10.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, simple assault and resisting arrest charges against Wanda E. Balukas, 52, of Bridgeville were waived to court. Bridgeville police originally charged Balukas on June 21. Subsequent charges of burglary, trespassing, conspiracy, criminal mischief, theft and receiving stolen property from an incident on June 19 were also waived to court. Additional receiving stolen property, forgery and other charges from June 18 were also waived to court.
  • Charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance against Branden L. Jones. 25, of Carnegie, were waived to court. Bridgeville police arrested Jones on June 2.
  • Charges of burglary, trespassing, criminal mischief, theft and receiving stolen property against Michael K. Tharp, 28, of Canonsburg, were waived to court. Bridgeville police originally charged Tharp on July 30. Subsequent charges of theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy from an incident on June 18 were also waived for court.
