District Court Rulings – 6/14

A Bridgeville area man is heading to trial on multiple burglary and theft charges. Read more in the weekly district court round-up.

Multiple burglary and theft charges against a Bridgeville area man were waived to court before his preliminary court hearing with .

South Fayette police arrested 31-year-old Christian Paul on June 3 and charged him with numerous counts of burglary, receiving stolen property and theft.

Police said he committed his crimes on May 7, according to court records. He waived all the charges to court on June 11.

He is being held in Allegheny County Jail on $15,000 bond. His formal arraignment is scheduled for July 26 at the Allegheny County Courthouse.

Charges waived to court

  • Charges of drunken driving, careless driving, reckless driving and several traffic citations against Sourabh Moharil, 34, of Upper St. Clair, were waived to court. Collier Township police arrested Moharil on Dec. 9.
  • Drunken driving charges against Judi R. Bellaire, 28, of McDonald, were waived to court. Bridgeville police arrested Bellaire on April 22.
  • Drunken driving charges against Robert. E. Lapinski, 37, of Upper St. Clair, were wiaved to court. Bridgeville police arrested Lapinski on April 19.

 

Charges held for court

  • Charges of receiving stolen property, possession of an instrument of crime, retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia against Heidi Hunt, 22, of Imperial, were held for court. Scott police charged Hunt on March 5.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Charges of receiving stolen property and theft against Laura J. Rankin, 30, of Carnegie, were waived to court. Scott police arrested Rankin on May 28.
  • Charges of criminal trespassing and receiving stolen property against Alex S. Higie, 19, of Heidelberg, were waived to court. Heidelberg police arrested Higie on April 10.
  • Drunken driving charges and other traffic citations against Ryan Grise, 25, of Pittsburgh, were waived to court. Heidelberg police arrested Grise on March 31.

 

Charges reduced

  • A disorderly conduct charge against 48-year-old Mark Durbin was reduced to a non-traffic citation. Heidelberg police arrested Durbin on May 24.

 

Charges withdrawn

  • Charges of receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia against Alex Higie, 19, of Heidleberg were withdrawn by borough police. Police originally charged Higie on April 13.
