Preliminary court rulings by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet and District Judge Gary Zyra.

District Judge Gary Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township while District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.

Charges waived to court

  • A retail theft charge against Joseph N. Noble, 47, of Philadelphia, was waived to court, while a false identification charge was withdrawn. Scott Township police originally charged Noble on April 1.

Charges withdrawn

  • Charges of fraud, failure to carry registration and driving an unregistered vehicle against Mark Grejda, 30, of Pittsburgh, were withdrawn. A charge of misusing a license plate card was reduced to a non-traffic citation. Heidelberg police originally charged Grejda on Feb. 26.
  • Charges of accident involving damage, reckless driving and failure to notify police of an accident against Maria Speciale, 69, of Carnegie, were withdrawn. Heidelberg police originally charged Speciale on Dec. 16.

 

Charges held for court

  • Charges of receiving stolen property and three counts of retail theft against Erika S. Cora, 32, of Bridgeville, were held for court. Collier Township police originally charged Cora on Jan. 8.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Drunken driving and other vehicle charges against Nicholas S. Hesse, 24, of Kitzmiller, MD, were waived to court. Bridgeville police arrested Hesse March 12.
