Preliminary court rulings by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet and District Judge Gary Zyra.

District Judge Gary Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township while District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.

Charges waived to court

  • Resisting arrest and avoiding apprehension charges against Jerome A. Thomas, 27, of 504 Center St., Carnegie, were waived to court. An escape charge was dismissed. Scott Township police originally charged Thomas on March 11.

Charges reduced

  • Disorderly conduct and public drunkenness charges against Drew Kramer, 34, of 1706 Ellsworth Ave., Heidelberg, were reduced to non-traffic citations while a loitering charge was withdrawn. Heidelberg police originally charged Kramer on March 19.
  • Disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment charges against James A. Wolukis, 27, of 1601 Ellsworth Ave., Carnegie, were reduced to non-traffic citations, while charges of simple assault and criminal mischief were withdrawn. Scott police originally charged Wolukis on March 18.

 

Charges dismissed

  • Simple assault and harassment charges against Timothy P. Conway, 54, of 1618 Worchester Drive, Pittsburgh, were dismissed. Scott police originally charged Conway on Oct. 12.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Three counts of harassment, two counts of disorderly conduct and stalking and criminal mischief charges against Andy Williams, 42, of Carnegie, were waived to court. Collier police originally charged Williams on March 19.
  • Drunken driving, speeding and careless driving charges against Carl D. Hott, 34, of Pittsburgh, were waived to court. A reckless driving charge was withdrawn. Collier police arrested Hott on Dec. 28.
