District Court Rulings – 3/15

Preliminary court rulings by District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet and District Judge Gary Zyra.

District Judge Gary Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township while District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township.

Charges waived to court

  • Criminal trespassing and theft charges against 37-year-old Brian Walsh were waived to court. Scott Township police originally charged Walsh on Feb. 27.
  • Receiving stolen property and theft charges against Joshua A. Ellis, 18, of Carnegie, were waived to court. A retail theft charge against Ellis was withdrawn. Heidelberg police originally charged Ellis on Jan. 29.
  • Drunken driving charges against Neil A. Yost, 25, of 611 Doolittle Ave., Carnegie, were waived to court. A careless driving charge against Yost was withdrawn. Heidelberg police arrested Yost on Jan. 28.

Charges waived to court

  • Drunken driving and speeding charges against Joseph A. Lenkiewicz, 46, of Bridgeville, were waived to court. Careless driving and reckless driving charges against Lenkiewicz were withdrawn. Collier Township police arrested Lenkiewicz on Nov. 25.
