District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township while District Judge Gary Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Ten felony counts of forgery, eight felony counts of access and nine counts of bad checks against Denise Boris, 39, of 219 Locust St., Carnegie, were waived to court. Felony conspiracy, theft and identity theft charges against Boris were also waived to court. Scott police originally charged Boris on Jan. 10.
  • Eleven felony counts of forgery, six felony counts of access device fraud and nine counts of bad checks against Joseph R. Boris, 38, of 306 Torrence Ave., Carnegie, were waived to court. Other charges including theft and access device fraud were also waived to court. Scott police charged Boris on Jan. 10. Meanwhile, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest charges against him for a Jan. 12 incident were waived to court.
  • Multiple charges of forgery, receiving stolen property and one false report count against Lucy June Reynolds, 34, of 5353 Keeport Drive, Pittsburgh, were waived to court. Scott police charged Reynolds on Jan. 2.
  • Multiple drug charges and one count of driving on a suspended license against Wallace E. Brown, 169 Union St., Bridgeville, were waived to court. Heidelberg police charged Brown on Oct. 25
  • Marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia charges against Antione L. Dean, 47, of 531 Lincoln Ave., Heidelberg, were waived to court. Heidelberg police arrested Dean on Oct. 22.

 

Charges held for court

  • Retail theft, identity theft and false report charges against Joseph A. Risden Jr., 24, of Benwood, WV, were head for court. Scott police filed charges against Risden on Jan. 17.
  • Drunken driving and reckless driving charges against Christopher R. Christman, 28, of 2160 Greentree Road, Pittsburgh, were held for court. Scott police charged Christman on Dec. 23.

 

Charges withdrawn

  • Simple assault and harassment charges against Lawrence Ciptak, 49, of 205 Locust St., Carnegie, were withdrawn. Scott police originally charged Ciptak on Oct. 20.
  • Theft and receiving stolen property charges against Kayla Patterson, 23, of 531 Carothers Ave., Carnegie, were withdrawn. Scott police originally charged Patterson on Jan. 5.

 

Charges held for court

  • A retail theft charge against Susan Marie Fertal, 53, of 1006 Elizabeth St., Carnegie, was held for court. Collier Township police arrested Fertal on May 2 but charges were not filed until Dec. 20.
  • A charge of possession of a controlled substance against Jessica Oliver, 21, of 508 Spikenard St, Carnegie, was held for court. Collier Township police arrested Oliver on Nov. 30.

 

Charges waived to court

  • Drunken driving charges against Zachary A. Defelice, 22, of 227 Molly Drive, McMurray, were held for court. A possession of drug paraphernalia charge was withdrawn. Bridgeville police arrested Defelice on Dec. 24.
  • Charges of drunken driving and driving on a suspended license against Glenn D. Murray, 65, of 214 McCully St., Pittsburgh, were waived to court. State police arrested Murray on Aug. 31 and filed charges on Dec. 3.
