District Judge Gary Zyra oversees Heidelberg and Scott Township. The office of , which oversees Bridgeville and Collier Township, was closed for the Presidents Day holiday.

Charges dismissed

  • A felony witness intimidation charge and one count of terroristic threats against Mark Mesagno, 48, of 1742 Washington St., Carnegie, were dismissed. Scott police originally charged Mesagno on Jan. 18.

Charges waived to court

  • Charges of evidence tampering, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of corruption of minors against Dion Z. Fehl, 19, of 418 Border St., Carnegie, were waived to court. A charge of possession of drugs with intent to deliver was withdrawn. Heidelberg police arrested Fehl on Feb. 7.
  • Conspiracy, access device fraud and bad checks charges against Gary Kovach, 28, of 310 Midland St., Carnegie, were waived to court, while a forgery charge was withdrawn. Scott police charged Kovach on Jan. 10.
  • Drunken driving charges against Arlene Dantry, 60, of 562 Millers Run Road, Morgan, were waived to court. Scott police arrested Dantry on Jan. 1.
