Parkway West Reopens After Big Crash

A tractor-trailer barreled through the concrete median on I-376 near Carnegie before crashing into cars and causing major traffic back-ups in both directions Friday morning.

Crews have reopened all lanes of the Parkway West four hours after a major crash closed the interstate in both directions near the Carnegie exit Friday morning.

A tractor-trailer apparently barreled through the concrete median, crashing into two cars and causing major traffic back-ups in both directions, WPXI-TV reported.

The crash happened shortly before 6 a.m. during the morning rush hour commute. It’s not known if anyone was injured in the crash.

PennDOT workers could be seen working most of the morning trying to repair the concrete median. All lanes were reopened shortly before 10 a.m.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like a really crazy crash. They're still repairing the median four hours later.
