Crafton Woman Accused of Assault Going to Trial

A Crafton area woman accused of assault, terroristic threats and illegally carrying a firearm will stand trial on most of the charges.

Mary E. Carnahan, 52, was held for court on a felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license and misdemeanor counts of weapons possession, simple assault, reckless endangerment and terroristic threats.

A felony aggravated assault charge was withdrawn during her preliminary court hearing with District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on Feb. 11.

Bridgeville police arrested Carnahan following an incident on Sept. 21.

Charges waived to court

• Two charges of bad checks against Gerald L. Conklin Jr., 46, of Pittsburgh, were waived to court. Bridgeville police charged Conklin following incidents on Dec. 22 and 28.

• Charges of drunken driving, careless driving and several traffic citations against Chris Lorenzato, 60, of Canonsburg, were waived to court. Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lorenzato in Collier Township on Nov. 2.

• Charges of drunken driving, speeding, careless driving and other traffic citations against Lisa M. Peterson, 31, of East Liverpool, OH, were waived to court. Pennsylvania State Police arrested Peterson on Oct. 1 in Collier Township.

• Charges of driving under the influence and speeding against Taylor M. Moss, 25, of South Park, were waived to court. Bridgeville police arrested Moss on Dec. 9.
