Couple Accused of Stealing Meat From Grocery Store

A Pittsburgh couple from is accused of stealing numerous packages of meat from Shop 'n Save in Raceway Plaza. Read about that and other crime news in the weekly Scott Township police blotter.

A couple from Pittsburgh was arrested over the weekend after allegedly stealing numerous packages of meat from Shop ’n Save.

Scott Township police said Timothy Snyder, 45, was seen running from the Raceway Plaza grocery store with packages of meat he hadn’t paid for yet.

He then got into a car driven by Donna Snyder, 46, and they tried to leave the parking lot, police said.

However, investigators said officers stopped the couple before they could leave the area.

Both faces retail theft and conspiracy charges.

Scott Township

Pop cans stolen: Aluminum cans in a recycling bin at St. Ignatius Church in Scott were stolen on Oct. 15, township police said.

DUI arrest leads to more charges: Patrick E. Crabb, 44, of Scott, was charged with drunken driving, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest around 7 a.m. on Oct. 18, township police said.

Drug charges: James Serafin, 24, of Scott, faces drug charges after township police said they arrested him on Oct. 18.

Retail theft charge: Bryan McGraw, 20, of Scott, was charged with retail theft and trespassing after township police said he tried to steal items from the Washington Avenue GetGo on Oct. 20.

Man accused of assault: Joseph Frank, 54, of Scott, was charged with assault following a fight along Glenn Avenue on Oct. 21, township police said.
