Carnegie Man Charged With Rape
The suspect is also accused of threatening the victim via text message.
A Carnegie man is charged with raping a woman and threatening her through a text message, according to the Post-Gazette.
The victim told police she was sleeping in her bedroom and David J. Sams, 23, was sleeping on the couch, but she woke up to find Sams taking her clothes off. He raped her and cut her with a broken mirror, according to police.
Sams is then accused of sending a text to the woman that said, "disgusting you would lie to the police like that."

Sams is reportedly charged with rape, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, intimidating a victim, simple assault and unlawful restraint. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 3, according to the newspaper.
