Burglar Steals Garbage Disposal From Collier Township Home
Someone broke into a home under construction in the new Summit Ridge Estates development of Collier Township.
Someone broke into a new home under construction in Collier and stole a garbage disposal, township police said.
Collier Township police said someone broke into the home in the 1200 block of Crest Drive in the new Summit Ridge Estates on the weekend of Jan. 5. The break-in was reported on Jan. 7.
They broke in through a rear widow and also damaged the front door lock while trying to enter the home, police said.

The burglar took a garbage disposal worth $60, but apparently nothing else, police said.
