A man allegedly fights police officers in Scott Township and a former Giant Eagle employee is kicked out of the store for being intoxicated. Read more in the weekly police blotter.

Drunk and disorderly charges at Chuck-E-Cheese: Collier police say a Pleasant Hills woman was drunk and causing problems while at Chuck-E-Cheese on May 17. Patricia Koontz, 46, was arrested at the Chartiers Valley Shopping Center restaurant and charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

Former rocery store employee arrested: A former Giant Eagle employee was arrested on May 17 after workers there said he was drunk and refused to leave the grocery store, Collier police said. James Ciesielski, 54, of Collier, was charged with trespassing and public drunkenness when he would not leave the store at Chartiers Valley Shopping Center.

Car keys stolen from gym: A man told Collier Township police that his car keys were stolen from his gym locker while he worked out at LA Fitness on May 15.

Man accused of writing bad checks: Robert McVitte, 31, of Cranberry, was charged with writing bad checks on May 11 after Bridgeville police said a Commercial Street resident told them he gave him a check from a closed bank account.

 

DUI arrest: Gerald M. Tarnosky, 45, of Carnegie, was charged with drunken driving, accident involving damage and careless driving after Heidelberg police said he was swerving and hit a curb along Route 50 on May 16.

 

 

Drug arrest leads to fight with police: Two people face multiple charges after police said a May 14 arrest on drug charges spurred a fight with officers. Scott Township police said they were arresting Frank Bowser, 32, of Scott, on charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia when another man ran from police. Police said Alexander Cranston, 25, of Burgettstown, ran from officers during the arrest on Carothers Avenue and began fighting with them. He was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and drug possession.

Police obtain warrant for assault charges: Scott police said they have obtained a warrant for a Scott man accused of getting into a fight on May 20. Police charged David W. Colbert Jr., 35, with simple assault and harassment after officers received a report of the fight.

Woman accused of pepper spraying person: Scott police said they charged Anna Logar, 38, of Coraopolis, with assault after she allegedly pepper sprayed another person during a fight on May 19. Police said also had a large amount of prescription medication, and officers charged her with possession of a controlled substance.

Man accused of fighting with women: Charles Ragland, 40, of Carnegie, was charged with public drunkenness on May 15 after Scott police said they responded to a fight with him and three women in the 1100 block of Washington Avenue.

Man heard yelling on back deck: Dale Brannon, 47, of Scott, faces a disorderly conduct charge after township police said he was yelling from his Carothers Avenue residence’s porch late shortly after 10 p.m. on May 18.

Public intoxication and drug charges: Frank Misitis III, 47, of Scott, was charged with public drunkenness and marijuana possession on May 19 after township police said he was acting  strangely on Carothers Avenue.

Public drunkenness arrest: Jennifer Hammond, 38, of Carnegie, was charged with public drunkenness on May 19 after a dispute at 99 Bottles on Washington Avenue, Scott police said.

Couple charged with public drunkenness: Tatem Lee, 36, and Trisha Lee, 40, both of Carnegie, were charged with public drunkenness on May 20 after Scott police said they found them in the 1200 block of Washington Avenue.
