Bridgeville Police Arrest Burglar

Police have arrested a Washington County man in connection with the burglary of a Bridgeville home last week. Read about that and other crime in the weekly Bridgeville police blotter.

Bridgeville police have arrested a Washington County man in connection with the burglary of a borough home last week.

Police said a home in the 100 block of Union Street was broken into on Oct. 24 and several items inside the residence were stolen. The resident called police around 8:40 p.m. on the day of the burglary.

Investigators eventually obtained a warrant for Brian Parris, 27, of Washington, and arrested him.

Bridgeville

Old refrigerators leads to citation: A Bridgeville woman was cited after borough police said she had left a refrigerator on her porch for nearly two months. Police said 28-year-old Nicole Wiles left the unsecured refrigerator was left on the rear porch of the home in the 200 block of St. Clair Street. Police said they were concerned that a child could easily get inside and become trapped when they cited her for the state law violation on Oct. 23.
