Bridgeville Man Sentenced in Molestation Case Involving Young Girl

Russell Forrest III, the man accused of molesting a 3-year-old girl, was sentenced to three to six years in prison.

A Bridgeville man accused of molesting a 3-year-old girl was sentenced for the crime on Wednesday, April 17.

Bridgeville police Chief Chad King said Russell Forrest III plead guilty to the charges against him and will serve three to six years in prison.

Forrest, 27, was charged with aggravated assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child by a guardian.

Forrest also faces numerous drug charges, and a separate trial for those charges will be held April 30.

King said Forrest will likely be held in Allegheny County Jail until after the April 30 trial, at which point he will be transferred to a state prison.
