Bridgeville Man Arrested for Bringing Drugs into Police Station

Police say Brenton Dillon was supposed to be interviewed to aid in a separate investigation. Instead, he now faces several drug charges. Read about that and other crime news in the weekly Bridgeville police blotter.

A man who apparently knew he would be searched for drugs when he arrived at the Bridgeville Police Department to aid in an investigation still allegedly brought illegal prescription drugs and paraphernalia with him, police said

Brenton Dillon, 28, of Bridgeville, came to the borough’s police station on Jan. 23 and was told earlier he would be searched by officers before the interview began.

But as officers approached him for the search, police said he reached into his pants pocket and tried to hide something in his hand. Police said they found a container with prescription pills, along with $735 in cash, two cell phones and “cut straws” that are used to inhale powder substances.

Police said they also found in his car cut straws and a baggie with white powder residue.

Dillon was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is free from Allegheny County Jail on $5,000 bond.
