Bridgeville Man Accused of Soliciting Minor For Sex Will Stand Trial
The Bridgeville man accused of soliciting sex from a 15-year-old while at fire hall Bingo is going to trial on all felony charges.
The Bridgeville man accused of soliciting sex from a 15-year-old while at fire hall Bingo is going to trial on all charges.
John F. Spang, 54, waived to court felony charges of corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility, unlawful contact with minors and criminal solicitation before his preliminary hearing with District Judge Maureen McGraw-Desmet on Jan. 28.
Investigators from the Bridgeville and Allegheny County police departments said Spang starting making sexual advances as the boy was volunteering at the weekly Bingo game at the borough’s fire hall on Dec. 3. He then later called the boy and made sexual advances, investigators said.

Police arrested Spang at his Bridgeville apartment on Dec. 7.
Spang is free on $5,000 bond.
