Arrests Made in LA Fitness Gym Locker Thefts

Two people were arrested and charged with a string of thefts of belongings from gym lockers.

said on Aug. 30 the gym’s employees stopped a man who they apparently saw stealing items out of gym lockers and held him until officers arrived.

Police said they arrested Ryan Davin of South Park at the scene and charged him with theft, trespassing, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property and possession of drugs.

They later found Brian Maceil, 24, of South Park, waiting in a car outside the gym and accused him of being an accomplice. Maceil faces charges of theft, criminal conspiracy and possession of drugs.
