Arrests Follow Fight in Scott Township

Scott Township police blotter, April 8 to April 14.

The following information was supplied by the Scott Township Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two men were cited after police said they were involved in a fight on Greenvalley Drive on April 8.

Khalil Aljizani, 22, of Pittsburgh, and Moutaz Alhaneyah, 19, of Scott Township, both were cited for disorderly conduct.

  • David Grundler, 55, of Scott Township, was charged with an alcohol-related DUI and other traffic offenses after a vehicle crash on Carothers Avenue.
  • Thomas Lopez, 48, of Scott Township, was charged with REAP and Risking a Catastrophe after he fell asleep with food in oven causing a fire condition in his apartment building on Locust Street.

April 12

  • A pair of motorcycle riding boots that had been left at Ducky’s Car Wash were reported stolen when the owner returned to the car wash the next day and discovered they were missing.

April 13

  • A 1995 Polaris 4-wheel quad was reported stolen from a business in 200 block of Hope Street.
