Allegheny County Holding Fire Prevention Fair
Numerous first responders, medics, 911 dispatchers and other organizations will be at the fair.
Allegheny County is planning a fire prevention and safety fair Oct. 6 at the county airport in West Mifflin.
The event, which kicks off the Fire Prevention Week, goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to the public.

Allegheny County Emergency Services Chief Alvin Henderson called the event a “day of fun and learning.”
“The Allegheny County Fire Prevention Week Kick-Off and Health & Safety Fair will feature demonstrations, activities and lots of great information to protect our neighborhoods and help make our families safer,” he said in a press release.

- Allegheny County Emergency Services canine demonstrations, canine CPR, search & rescue dogs, and cadaver dogs
