Veterans: Join us at Chartiers Valley for a celebration in your honor

It is time again to honor the service of our veterans.

It is time again to honor the service of our veterans.

The annual Chartiers Valley High School Flag Raising ceremony will take place on Friday, November 9 at 10:10 am. Students will gather around the outdoor flagpole at that time with their 4th period class. There will be a military color guard and the Select Chorus will lead us in the National Anthem, God Bless America and America, the Beautiful.

There is a change in the format this year. Vets who arrive before 10:00 am on November 9 will be asked to sign in so their name can be called out as part of an honor role of vets who have served. The ceremony should last approximately 20-25 minutes. Vets are then invited to a luncheon in the LGI room.
