I am Kasey Fiedler, a senior at Chartiers Valley. As my senior project, I am hosting a Field Day Fundraiser for children kindgarten through 6th grade on Saturday, August 20, 2011 (rainout date is August 21) at Scott Township Park. Help raise awareness for Batten Disease, and join us for one last fun-filled day before the next school year begins! For $10.00, Field Day participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, refreshments, carnival game tickets, and face painting (Pre-register to guarantee a t-shirt, pay when you arrive). The participants will take part in many exciting activities such as, basketball, soccer, hockey, obstacle course, water balloon toss and more! Guests are also welcome to the carnival games, face painting, and a Chinese Auction. All proceeds benefit Grady's All Stars, which is a fund set up for brothers, Drew (7) and Trent (4) Grady, who are suffering from Late Infantile Batten Disease, to aid with special medical equipment, treatments, and therapy.
