Parkinson Primer
The Parkinson Primer is a four-week seminar course (two hours each session) for people with PD and their families. The program targets newly diagnosed individuals, their families and anyone desiring a greater understanding of Parkinson disease in order to better manage the current and future symptoms that may arise.
The Parkinson Primer will be conducted in a small group (10-12 people) setting. Participants will have the opportunity to interact and discuss with others in a similar
circumstance. Participants will also receive material and information to help them become more proactive patient consumers and partners in the management of their PD.
The Parkinson Primer is free to those diagnosed with
PD and their family members.
Please contact the National Parkinson Foundation Western PA for additional information at 412-837-2542.
