Readers Report Accidents, Damage After Storm

Chartiers Valley Patch readers are keeping neighbors updated after a storm swept through the area Friday afternoon. Here's what they said.

Car accidents, damage and power outages were reported Friday afternoon following a storm that swept through the Chartiers Valley area.

Storms rolled in around 4 p.m. Friday. According to the Weather Channel website, the Chartiers Valley area is expected to have thunder storms through 6 p.m., followed by cloudy skies with thunderstorms beginning again around 9 p.m. Rain is expected throughout the night and into Saturday morning.
