we had holy childs fish fry today and i was very impressed, the fish was huge, the buns were so good and not cheap, the sides were fresh and good....prices were alittle much compared to portions, halushky was way over priced for the one spoonful you get...tablespoon!!! :( the mac n cheese was horrid too...) but the fish, which is the main course, was to die for, but they need to redo the menu and prices....we wont go back due to cost and poor sides...40 bucks for 3 people to eat. the sides r served in portion cups, not containers! and after I paid 40 bucks they told an elderly man he didnt have to pay for his halushky,lol.......

Had Holy Child take-out Friday night and thought it was really good. Sure, $9 is kinda expensive for a dinner, but that's basically what all the fish fries around town are charging. Just a sign of the times.

Holy Child's fish sandwich is delicious! I look forward to it all year. For $9 you get a huge sandwich on a great bun, 2 sides, a drink, plus a dessert! Well worth my $. People rave about the baked fish, too.

The Bower Hill Fire Department used to hold one until last year. Theirs was always my favorite. Holy Child has a great fish fry too. I also suggest St. Columbkille in North Fayette.
